A large group of students and faculty are organizing an event on Dec. 5th, 11:30-12:15, in the EME building at UBC Okanagan to reflect on the current revolution in Iran led by young women. Since seventy days (start of this revolution), 442 people have been killed (including 59 children), over 4000 people have been injured (350 lost their eye(s) due to getting shot by pallet guns), and over 14,000 people (mainly university students) have been detained.
The event on Dec. 5th will include live performances, mime shows, music, and more.
