Join us for what has become the world’s biggest human rights event. Amnesty International Okanagan will be writing letters to support people around the world who have been unjustly imprisoned because of their peaceful protesting. We will be writing letters to activists in Bangladesh, Cameroon, Cuba, France, Hong Kong, Iran, Morocco, Paraguay, Russia and Zimbabwe.
We will supply paper, pens, envelopes and stamps. Bring along your laptop or IPAD if you prefer to send your messages via social media or email. Drop in and stay as long as you are like. Refreshments will be served.
